While previously employed, Ed Parker was the project manager and designer for the new Mayfield Village Community Room. As an architect and resident of the village, Ed saw an opportunity to give back to his community. He presented the idea of two custom coat racks that he would design and install. They would be functional, yet have a sculptural appearance for the many occasions when they were not being used. Mayfield Village accepted the proposal and provided all materials for the installation.
